If you are a beginning or backyard birdwatcher seeking tips on how to improve your skills, our Birding 101 outings are perfect for you. Please Register Here. Join MV Bird Club's President, Shea Fee and Rich Couse at The Farm Institute to spend 2 hours honing your birding skills in the fields and heathlands of Katama.
Meet in the parking lot. Be prepared to walk up to 1 mile, and dress for the weather.
We'll have binoculars to loan if you do not own a pair, or if you want to bring a friend who is interested in birding.

Join The MV Bird Club
Membership in the MV Bird Club is on a sliding scale of $10 to $50, but larger donations are welcome to support the club. Member dues will cover website, communications, and operational expenses for the club as well as speaker fees to guest speakers.
Members will receive advance notice of off-island field trips and guest lectures. MV Bird Club bi-weekly bird walks, led by local birders, are free.
